Imran Khan unearthing mafias of plunderers: Fayyazul Hassan Chohan
LAHORE (92 News) – Provincial minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Fayyazul Hassan Chohan has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is unearthing the mafia of plunderers (All Pakistan Loot Mar Association) on Monday.
During the Punjab Assembly session, the opposition staged a strong protest over non-issuance of production orders of Opposition Leader Hamza Shahbaz and MPA Salman Rafiq.
The PML-N lawmakers demanded production orders of Hamza, and warned to halt proceedings of the House till the demand is not accepted.
During the speech of Fayyazul Hassan Chohan, the opposition raised slogans as ‘liar’. The provincial assembly turned into fish market when the opposition staged protest and raised slogans standing on the seats.
Reacting to the protest, Fayyazul Hassan Chohan lashed out at opposition leaders and stated that the productions orders would be issued for only those who are political workers, and not for looters of foreign aid and stealers.
“No production orders will be issued for any thief, robber or money launderer…I will expose the status of the Sharif brothers in the House…these orders are only for those who are political prisoners,” he said.
“All Sharifs including father-in-law, brother-in-law and all relatives looted the national exchequer. They also transferred the aid for quake victims into their own accounts. Michelle Obama awarded billions of dollars to Mrs Safdar Awan,” the PTI MPA said slamming to the opposition.
Former provincial law minister and opposition MPA Rana Mashhood Mashhood demanded production orders of Hamza, and warned to halt proceedings of the House till the demand is not accepted.
Meanwhile, the deputy speaker of the House adjourned the session for unspecified period.
