Imran Khan says Sharif family looted Rs 300 billion
DERA ISMAIL KHAN (92 News) – PTI chairman Imran Khan has said that they were not consulted on the appointment of the NAB chairman and they have reservations about him.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, he said that the nation will pay a tribute to the NAB chairman if he did accountability otherwise he will get the treatment like his predecessor.
He said that they had devised a strategy to deal with dengue.
The PTI chairman said that the Sharif family had looted Rs 300 billion. “Zardari, who used to sell tickets on the black market at a cinema, now owns 100,000 acres of land and 19 sugar mills,” he added.
He said that the prime minister and the government are busy protecting a family.
Imran Khan asked the Supreme Court to take notice of the VIP accountability.
Earlier addressing a ceremony in Gomal University, the PTI chairman said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif had used Changa Manga to sell and purchase the politicians. “We have grown 40 Changa Manga-style jungles in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.”
He said: “When I visited the National Assembly, I found that all dacoits were sitting there.”
Imran Khan said that Rs 300 billion owned by Nawaz Sharif is lying abroad. “They are saying why they were ousted,” he added.
