India agrees to hold comprehensive dialogues with Pakistan
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – India has agreed to hold comprehensive dialogues with Pakistan.
Addressing a joint press conference with Sartaj Aziz on Wednesday, Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said that the comprehensive dialogues would be held afresh.
“The dialogues will be comprehensive, not composite. Foreign secretaries of both countries will set the method of the dialogues,” she said.
As many as 14 matters, including Kashmir, Siachin, Sir Creek, terrorism, Indian water projects and trade cooperation, will be discussed during the dialogues.
Both countries resolved to cooperate with each other against terrorism.
Pakistan has assured India of steps to resolve the Mumbai attack case.
The dialogues between both countries were suspended after the Mumbai attacks.
