India non-serious in finding a solution to Kashmir dispute: Maleeha Lodhi

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – It is obligatory on the United Nations to persuade the Indian government for peaceful settlement of the longstanding Kashmir dispute.

Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Dr Maleeha Lodhi has said that India is non-serious in finding a solution to the Kashmir dispute.

She said that India’s arrogance is deteriorating situation in the region that can be a threat to regional and international peace and security.

Dr Maleeha Lodhi said Pakistan is highlighting the Kashmir issue at all forums to seek international attention.

She said that the letter of the UN Secretary General to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on the issue is an evidence of their efforts.


She said that the prime minister’s letter has been properly responded and circulated among the UNSC members as an official document.
