India wants good relations with neighbouring countries, says foreign secretary Jaishankar
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Indian Foreign Secretary Subrahmanyan Jaishankar has said that his country wants good relations with its neighbouring countries.
Talking to the media after a meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry on Tuesday, he said that dialogues were held in positive environment.
“Both countries agreed to cooperate on cross-border terrorism,” he added. “We agreed that ensuring peace and tranquillity on the border is vital.”
Jaishankar said that they also talked about ending border tension. “Pakistan will be the next chairman of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC),” he added.
