Indian forces still unable to vacate compound in Pampore
PAMPORE (92 News) – The encounter between two armed militants and Indian forces in Pampore area of Occupied Kahsmir has entered third day and the Indian forces have not yet succeeded to evacuate the besieged building so far.
A few armed militants had embattled a government building in Pampore area at 6am on Monday after a clash with Indian forces in Occupied Kashmir.
According to Indian media, the operation is under way and the Indian forces are facing retaliation. The Indian forces have opened heavy fire on the building besides attacking with rockets. They are using heavy weaponry to evacuate the building of militants but armed men are embattled on the top floor of the building, keeping the army to enter the building.
An exchange of fire continued between the Indian forces and militants on night between Monday and Tuesday. The Indian forces attacked the building with complete strength at around 1am after which the area echoed with sounds of bang.
Three Indian commandos were killed in a clash between Indian forces and armed persons in the same building in February.
