Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh to visit Islamabad to attend SAARC meet
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh will travel to Islamabad to attend the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) meeting for home ministers of member nations on August 3 and 4.
During his visit, Indian home minister is likely to have bilateral meetings with leaders from Pakistan and other SAARC countries. This will be the first visit by a senior Indian leader to Pakistan after the Pathankot attack, which took place on January 2.
This visit comes at a crucial time as India-Pakistan ties have been suffering, after the killing of Burhan Wani in Kashmir.
Rajnath Singh had condemned Pakistan’s interference in Kashmir and declared that India did not need any third party’s interference for improving its ties with Kashmir.
