Indian narrative on Kashmir is very weak, not difficult to overcome it: Maleeha Lodhi
NEW YORK (92 News) – Pakistan’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Maleeha Lodhi has said that Indian narrative on Kashmir is very weak and it is not difficult to overcome it.
In 92 News Program ‘Ho Kya Raha Hai’ on Thursday, she said that India is diverting from the statement of the first Indian PM Jawaharlal Nehru. “We should completely prepare for moving the United Nations Security Council. We are paying attention to each aspect,” she said.
Maleeha Lodhi said that the entire region could destabilize due to the Indian acts. “Indian authorities are also holding meetings with key figures. We should get benefit from the visit of the prime minister who should meet international leaders,” she maintained.
She said that Pakistan’s stance on the Kashmir issue is very clear. “The PM will attend the UNSC meeting. He has a key opportunity to narrate the Indian designs,” she added.
Maleeha Lodhi said that the United Nations secretary general has also offered to mediate on the Kashmir issue and it is his responsibility as well. “India is trying to bring about a material change.
She said that India is violating the international laws.
