SRINAGAR (92 News) – Indian troops on Monday martyred three more innocent Kashmiris in Islamabad district. The youth including a B-tech student Eesa Fazli and Syed Owais were killed by the Indian troops during a siege and search operation in Hakoora area of south district. After the martyrdom of innocent Kashmiris, the Indian authorities have imposed curfew and restrictions and ordered the closure of all schools and colleges in Srinagar. An official said that restrictions were imposed in parts of Downtown Srinagar and Soura area to prevent people from protesting against the killings. Eesa Fazli belonged to Srinagar, while Syed Owais was a resident of Kokernag area of Islamabad district. The move comes in the wake of martyrdom of Eesa Fazili of Soura in a gunfight with forces in Anantnag district in south Kashmir. The freedom fighters have been fighting Indian rule since 1989, demanding Kashmir be made part of Pakistan or become an independent country. India accuses Pakistan of arming and training the rebels, a charge Pakistan denies. Most Kashmiris support the freedom fighters' cause against Indian rule while also participating in civilian street protests against Indian control. Nearly 70,000 people have been killed in the uprising and the ensuing Indian military crackdown.
