Indian troops martyr two Kashmiri youths in IoK
SRINAGAR (92 News) – At least two Kashmiri youths were killed and four soldiers have been wounded in Indian-occupied Kashmir (IoK) in their fresh act of state terrorism by the Indian troops on Tuesday.
According to Indian media report, the gunmen assaulted the heavily-guarded camp outside a regional airport in the area’s main city of Srinagar in the early hours of Tuesday, hurling grenades and spraying automatic gunfire.
Three personnel of Indian Border Security Force were injured after unidentified gunmen entered the camp of 182 battalion of BSF near the Srinagar Airport outside the Air force station at Gogo in Humhama.
Intermittent firing between the gunmen and the troops was going on till reports last came in. Indian forces’ personnel have sealed all the routes leading to the airport while flights have been suspended.
The camp houses a battalion of India’s Border Security Force and only barbed wire separates it from the Srinagar airport, which is controlled and run by the Indian Air Force.
The camp has previously been a notorious interrogation centre where Kashmiri youth would be detained, questioned and allegedly tortured.
