Industries to face 9-10 hours load shedding
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The government has planned to shutdown electricity of industries during Sehr and Iftar, after failing to provide electricity to the masses on Monday.
Ministry for Water and Power has decided that electricity will not be supplied to industries for 9-10 hours.
According to the announced schedule, Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) will not supply electricity from Sehr to Iftar to industries in its jurisdiction, while MEPCO, FESCO AND GEPCO will not supply electricity to the industries in its jurisdictions for 4-hours in morning and 5-hours in evening.
On the other hand, Industrialists, while refusing to accept the decision of power break down said that hundreds of workers will be unemployed and it will be difficult to complete export orders in time.
