Internal story of PML-N delegation meeting with Maulana Fazl revealed
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The lamp of hope did not burn as the internal story of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) delegation meeting with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman revealed.
According to the reports, the meeting between the PML-N delegation and the JUI-F chief could not make key progress. It said that the PML-N cannot clarify the strategy about where the workers will join anti-government protest Azadi March of Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
Many issues related to the protest in Islamabad will also be consulted again and Fazlur Rehman Maulana also did not seem happy with the reply of the PML-N. The PML-N was also not happy on 500 volunteers instead of 5,000 by call of the JUI-F chief.
A delegation of PML-N handed Fazlur Rehman a letter of former prime minister and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif.
In the letter, Nawaz Sharif has reiterated his support to the JUI-F chief for Azadi March.
On the occasion, PML-N senior leader Ahsan Iqbal said that Nawaz Sharif has called on all opposition parties to participate in the march.
Ahsan Iqbal further said that there is no rift in the ranks of PML-N on the issue of Azadi March and the party is united. He said that the PTI government is spreading disinformation in this regard.
In letter to Shahbaz, Nawaz tells PML-N to ensure Azadi March is a success.
Nawaz requested Rehman, who has called on all parties to join him in the march, to release a “comprehensive programme” regarding the march.
On the other hand, Awami National Party (ANP) leader Ghulam Ahmad Bilour led by delegation also met with the JUI-F chief and assured to join the anti-government protest Azadi March.
Earlier, the PML-N held a consultative meeting to discuss Azadi March to be launched by Maulana Fazalur Rahman on October 27. During the meeting, PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif read out the letter sent to him by part Quaid Shehbaz Sharif.
Sources in the PML-N disclosed that owing to Shehbaz Sharif’s backache, Ahsan Iqbal and other senior leaders will attend Azadi March. However, Shehbaz Sharif will lead a rally in Lahore.
Talking to the media after the meeting, Ahsan Iqbal said that a PML-N delegation would meet Maulana Fazalur Rahman. “The economy is destroying, while crimes are on the rise. We laid the foundation of a progressing Pakistan during five years,” he said.
