Intizar’s father dissatisfied with investigation team
KARACHI (92 News) – The father of a 19-year-old shot dead allegedly by Anti Car Lifting Cell personnel, has written to the Sindh Police IG, requesting that the team investigating the case be changed.
It was a case, the letter says, of target killing, not an accidental death.
Intezar Ahmad’s father has written a letter to the Sindh Police IG asking that the investigation team be changed. He has said he is not satisfied with the way the investigation has progressed.
The father of the deceased said the fatal shooting was not an accident. He said it was clearly a target killing.
Ishtiaq Ahmad said the IG, a family man, was his last hope. He requested that the investigation of the case be handed over to the Crime Branch or the Counter Terrorism Department.
Meanwhile, a court extended the physical remand of 8 ACLC personnel until Saturday. Inspector Tariq Rahim, one of the nominated suspects, has been granted interim bail until Tuesday.
