Ishaq Dar advises people to take chicken if pulses are expensive
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has advised the people to take chicken if pulses are expensive.
During the budget discussion, the minister said that they had abolished tax on chicken and now it was available at Rs 200 per kg.
He said that the reply to loans taken from 2000 to 2013 should be sought from Pervaiz Musharraf and the PPP. “I do not smuggle silk. I have paid off the loan,” he said.
Challenging AML Sheikh Rashid, the minister said that he would quit politics if anyone proved his single penny abroad.
He said that deficit budgets had been presented in three provinces. “Attention has to be paid on the deficit of the federal government,” he said.
Ishaq Dar said that an amount of Rs 100 billion had been allocated for the Operation Zarb-e-Azb in the budget. “There has been a 60 percent growth during three years,” he added.
He disclosed that they had abolished secret funds of all institutions except the ISI and the IB.
He also advised Sheikh Rashid to get married at the earliest so that he may know the needs of children.
The minister also challenged to conduct the forensic audit of the assets of PTI chairman Imran Khan.
