Ishaq Dar meets PM Nawaz Sharif, discusses MQM resignations issue
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has on Wednesday met with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad and exchanged views over Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) lawmakers’ resignations.
The finance minister informed the prime minister regarding his telephonic conversation with the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl chief Moulana Fazlur Rehman.
Ishaq Dar said that the JUI-F chief wanted to constitute a committee to resolve the issue of MQM’s resignations, adding that the MQM wanted their concerns to be addressed immediately, so that the resignations could be withdrawn.
Sources said that a delegation of the MQM has reached Islamabad.
The dialogues are expected to held between government and the MQM.
