Islam has nothing to do with terrorism: Maulana Fazlur Rehman

NOWSHERA (92 News) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that Islam is the religion of peace and it has nothing to do with terrorism.


Addressing the centennial celebrations congregation of JUI in Azakhel area of district Nowshera on Sunday, he said, “We want to tell America that Islam does not represent terrorism. We want the West to look into its own deeds.”


The JUI-F chief stressed the need that foreign forces should vacate Muslims’ soil especially Kashmir and Palestine for restoration of world peace.


He also asked the international community to work for restoration of peace in Syria.


Addressing the congregation, Senate Deputy Chairman Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri urged the people to foil the conspiracies against the motherland.


He said the past dictatorial regimes have damaged the national institutions.


Addressing the congregation, Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Chairman Mahmood Khan Achakzai stressed the need for collective efforts to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
