ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has on Monday casted his vote in Union Council No 23 Mohra Noor during the first ever local government elections in the federal capital on Monday (today).

As the PTI chairman arrived at UC-23 Mohra Noor to cast his vote in the first ever LG elections in Islamabad, the party workers welcomed him and showered flowers petals at him. The party workers further chanted slogans in favor of their leader.

Talking to media after casting his vote, cricketer-turned politician said that he doesn’t know why the ECP stopped him from taking part in campaign for LG elections.

He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is announcing packages before the elections, adding that the prime minister reminded of visiting Lodhran ahead of election. “The ECP should correct its attitude,” he said.
