Islamabad United beats Karachi Kings by five wickets

SHARJAH (92 News) – Islamabad United defeated Karachi Kings by five wickets in the Pakistan Super League match at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Chasing an easy target of 129 runs, the Islamabad United team lost three early wickets on 19 runs failing the top order.

The 63 runs partnership between Misbahul Haq (38) and Khalid Latif (33) helped United to make come in the match. Karachi King’s Sohail Khan got two wickets.

Earlier, Islamabad United won the toss and elected to bowl first but Karachi Kings scored 128 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs.


Ravi Bopara (45), Mushfiqur Rehman (33) and Shahzaib Hassan (27) were the main scorers.

Islamabad United’s Imran Khalid was declared man of the match for taking 2 wickets.
