Islamabad United grab their first win in PSL

DUBAI (92 News) – Islamabad United beat Karachi Kings in the sixth match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) T20.

Karachi Kings won the toss and its skipper Shoaib Malik invited Islamabad United to bat first.

Playing first Islamabad United set a victory target of 133 runs against Karachi Kings.

Imad Wasim made 29, Shakib Al Hasan 20 and Iftikhar Ahmed 19 for Karachi Kings. Saeed Ajmal was declared Man of the Match for taking three wickets while Andre Russell, Mohammad Sami and Rumman Raees shared a wicket each for United.

Karachi Kings which is the most favorite in PSL teams could only won one match against Lahore Qalanadars on Friday but lost to Quetta Gladiators in the second match.

On the other hand, in today’s second match, Quetta Gladiators won the toss and its skipper invited Peshawar Zalmi to bat first.
