Islamabad Zero Point flyover speaks volumes for corruption
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad Zero Point flyover, which is in a dilapidated condition, speaks volumes for corruption and substandard construction.
Citizens told 92 News that the flyover constructed at Rs 5b had started breaking just after four years.
They said that its western part was sliding towards the drain, while the central link had untied.
They appealed to the high-ups to look into the matter and take remedial steps to avoid an accident. They also demanded an inquiry into the matter.
The flyover whose PC-I, design and construction were unnecessarily changed several times is the worst example of engineering.
Meanwhile, the Auditor General of Pakistan has termed the Zero Point flyover as the masterpiece of corruption and substandard construction.
