ISPR denies issuing any threat alerts
RAWALPINDI (92 News) – The Pakistan Army’s spokesperson has denied the fake alerts are being circulated on social media quoting the ISPR.
Inter Service Public Relation (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor denied that the army had issued any such threat alerts and asked people to verify the information from the ISPR’s official website (www.ispr.gov.pk).
He took to Twitter to say that some people were giving false updates about the situation in Gwadar. He said that the people had been giving false updates on social media about the operation as if they were present on ground.
Few are giving false updates on social media about Gawadar operation as if they are present on ground. Please stay responsible instead being source of misinformation/ assistance to terrorists.
Operation still underway. Stay tuned to official sources for authentic information.

A security guard was martyred in firing of three terrorists who attempted forced entry into the five star Pearl Continental (PC) Hotel in the southwestern port city of Gwadar.
“Three terrorists attempted forced entry in PC Gwadar. Guard at entry challenged them. Terrorists opened fire on PC security guard who embraced Shahadat (martyrdom),” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
The ISPR confirmed that the security forces have cordoned off the area and guests have been safely evacuated. “Terrorists encircled by security forces are in a staircase leading to top floor and cleared the hotel,” it added.
