ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Ch Nisar has said that it is not within the ambit of the law to invite the Rangers to accountability.

Reacting to the statement of Imran Khan on Tuesday, he said that it is surprising that why a political leader had made such demand.

“Everyone is free to express his opinion, but this independence should be within the ambit of law,” he added.

He said that Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif is performing his professional services efficiently.

The minister said that the statements of politicians are tantamount to make institutions controversial.

“All acknowledge the sacrifices and performance of the Army. It is an attempt to make institutions controversial to make such demands from Army and Rangers for political point-scoring,” he maintained.

Ch Nisar said that it could be a source of diverting the Karachi operation from real objective.
