JI launches anti-corruption movement
LAHORE (92 News) – Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq has on Sunday while announcing to launch movement against corruption throughout the country said that the corruption is prevailing in the roots of every institution like a cancer.
Talking to media at the end of three-day meeting in Mansoora on Sunday, Sirajul Haq said that matters relating to government’s performance, poverty, unemployment and other issues were discussed during the meeting.
He said that the JI strongly condemned Indian allegation on Pakistan attacking Pathankot Air Base, adding that the government launched Tax Amnesty Scheme to provide benefit to corrupt people.
The JI chief said that only the capitalist system would be established as a result of the current electoral system.
