Two JIT members meet Qatari Prince to record statement
ISLAMABD (92 News) – Two members of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed to probe Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family member in Panama Leaks Case have on Tuesday met Qatari Prince Hamad bin Jassim to record his statement.
The JIT members are grilling the Qatari Prince regarding the letter he to the Sharif family.
Hamad bin Jassim had claimed in his letter that London flats were given to the Sharif family in return for their investment in Qatar.
Earlier, the JIT had decided to record the statement of Qatari Prince Hamad bin Jassim. However, it has not been disclosed who the JIT members are.
Earlier on Monday, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Dr Asif Kirmani had said that the probe into the Panama leaks case will be deemed incomplete without Qatari Prince’s statement. “The JIT will have to go to Qatar to record his statement,” he added.
Meanwhile, Hamad bin Jasim had invited the members six-man panel at his residence to record statement.
