JIT likely to summon Ishaq Dar
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed to probe Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family has on Monday decided to ask the authorities to provide the tax returns and is likely to summon Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Hudabiya Paper Mills scandal.
A meeting of JIT under the chairmanship of Wajid Zia is underway and the legality of Qatari prince’s letter is being reviewed. The JIT will also seek help from the legal team to review the legality of Qatari prince’s letter.
The JIT will also write a letter to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to seek tax returns of the prime minister and his children.
Sources said that the JIT is likely to summon Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to confirm his statement regarding Hudabiya Paper Mills scandal.
