Judicial Commission summons Najam Sethi, Hamid Mir for cross-examination on PTI’s plea
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Judicial Commission probing the rigging allegations has summoned Najam Sethi and Hamid Mir for cross-examination on the request of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
PTI’s counsel Hafeez Pirzada requested that he wanted to cross-examine Najam Sethi and Hamid Mir.
When asked by Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk heading the Judicial Commission whether he will cross-examine only two more witnesses. Hafeez Pirzada said that he would discuss the application of the PPP with regard to rigging in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday.
At this, the Judicial Commission summoned Najam Sethi and Hamid Mir for Monday.
To a question by PML-N’s counsel Shahid Hamid whether extra ballot papers were published in every election, former secretary Ishtiaq Ahmed said that extra ballot papers were published in all elections from 1970 to 2013.
Later, the Judicial Commission’s meeting was postponed till Monday.
