Karachi population deliberately shown less in census: Farooq Sattar
KARACHI (92 News) – MQM Pakistan chairman Farooq Sattar has said that the population of Karachi has deliberately shown less in the census.
Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that 14 million people have been shown missing. “Peace has been established in Karachi, but the matches are being played in Lahore,” he added.
He said that an increase of only three million in the population of Karachi after 19 years is unacceptable.
“China-cutting in Karachi was only 10 percent and on this pretext the MQM was defamed,” he said, 90 percent people involved in Russian and American cutting were spared.
