Karachi still without electricity and water after breakdown, pipeline bursting
KARACHI (92 News) – After nightlong power outage due to a major breakdown, the K-Electric could not restore electricity supply to different areas of Karachi on Wednesday.
As per details, the residents were forced to keep their fasts in the dark as half of the city plunged into darkness due to power breakdown on Tuesday night.
Initially the spokesman for K-Electric said that work on the restoration of two closed units of Bin Qasim had started. Later, it was disclosed that the problem was delicate and could take hours.
Moreover, due to prolonged power outage and bursting of 72-inch pipeline of the Water Board, people of Karachi are facing a lot of difficulty in performing their daily chores.
