Three arrested MQM-London leaders shifted to Central jail

KARACHI (92 News) – The three leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-London) who had been arrested yesterday were shifted to Central Jail for 30 days in Karachi on Sunday.

The leaders include Dr Hassan Zafar, Kunwar Khalid Younus and Amjadullah Khan who were arrested yesterday outside the press club by Rangers, have been booked on charges of instigating masses to violence.

Presenting the Karachi police’s stance on MQM leaders’ detention, spokesman said that the leaders were arrested under Maintenance of Peace Ordinance, adding that they will be in custody for 30 days in Central Jail.


Sources said that the arrested on charges of instigating masses to violence in cases relating to hate speech party’s London-based chief.
