Karachi traders hold protest against limiting Rangers authority

KARACHI (92 News) – The ‘Karachi Tajir Ittehad’ has on Thursday held a protest demonstration in the country’s economic hub against limiting Rangers authority in Sindh.

The participants of the rally carrying Chief of Army Staff Genral Raheel Sharif and Director General Rangers pictures chanted anti-governemnt slogans and demanded the provincial government to grant all special powers to the paramilitary force.

The protesters took out rally from Pakistan Chowk and staged a sit-in in front of provincial assembly.


The traders said that they would be forced to welcome Governor Rule, Emergency or Army, if the Sindh government didn’t restore Rangers’ powers.
