Karachi West District election result nullified after being declared controversial
KARACHI (92 News) – The election result of the District West was nullified after being declared controversial on Wednesday.
The Karachi Ittehed polling agents objected to the results. They said that 21 votes had been marked, while some votes carried alphabets and numbers.
As a result of the controversial result, Muttahida’s Izharuddin and Aziz Afridi of the PTI were elected the chairman and vice-chairman.
Uproar was raised on the occasion of the election. The PML-N workers stopped Imran Ismail from talking to the media.
PML-N’s Amaan Afridi said that the PTI had cast four votes in favor of the Muttahida.
PPP leader Najam Alam said that the PTI had deceived the alliance.
