Karachiites have rejected politics of division: Murtaza Wahab
KARACHI (92 News) – PPP leader Murtaza Wahab has said that the people of Karachi have rejected the politics of division.
Talking to the media on Monday, he said that MQM’s meeting in Jinnah Bagh was just a ‘Jalsi’.
He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had forgotten after spreading the rumour of Rs162 billion. “Only accusations will not work. The PTI even held the PPP responsible for the disturbance in its meeting,” he said.
He said that the federal government only believes in making announcements. “Only the Sindh government is doing work in the province,” he added.
The PPP leader questioned that where Rs700 million given to the KMC was spent. “The MQM people have power for China-cutting, but no power to establish parks,” he maintained.
He said that the MQM people had demolished the shops by taking the U-turn. “The City of the Quaid has again turned into the city of lights,” he said.
Murtaza Wahab said that arrangements for cold water were being made to deal with the heat wave. “It is time to put an end to the politics of U-turn and division,” he said.
