Kashmir solidarity day being observed today

SRINAGAR (92 News) – The nation is observing Day of Solidarity with Kashmiris on Friday (today) to highlight their cause and the need for resolution of the longstanding dispute as per wishes of Kashmiri people.

All educational institutes and government sector offices will remain close today, while different special ceremonies including Kashmir solidarity walks, seminars, public congregation and prayers are being held across the country.

Protest rallies and demonstrations will be across the country to strongly condemn gross violations of basic human rights and excesses being committed by Indian troops in the occupied valley.


On the occasion, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that India has deviated from the resolutions of United Nations.
