Key TTP commander gunned down in Battagram

BATTAGRAM (92 News) – Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and Police have on Sunday shot dead a commander of a banned organization and apprehended another during an operation conduction in Battagram on Sunday.

As per details, on a tip off the presence of terrorists in the area police and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) carried out a joint operation in Battagram’s Saath area.

During an exchange of fire, a commander of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Hafiz Nisar was killed, and apprehended his accomplice namely Sahibullah

Hafiz Nisar was wanted to in several cases of terrorism and targeting security forces in the province.


The law enforcers have also recovered weapons from the possession of terrorists. The arrested terrorist was shifted to an unknown location for further interrogation.
