Khatam-e-Nabuwat rally reaches Gujrat
GUJRAT (92 News) – The Khatam-e-Nabuwat rally led by Dr Allama Asif Ashraf Jalali has on Wednesday reached Gujrat.
The rally, which started from Lahore yesterday (Tuesday), is being led by the Sunni Tehreek along with several other religious groups.
The rally received warm welcome in different cities.
The participants of the rally chanted slogans in favor of their demands.
On the other hand, all kinds of gatherings are banned in Islamabad under Section 144, imposed by the district administration. The Islamabad High Court has banned all kinds of rallies in the capital, except for those taking place in the Parade Ground area.
The authorities have deployed hundreds of personnel of the law-enforcement agencies including Frontier Constabulary.
Containers have also been placed at the entrances to the Red Zone. The leaves for all the staff have also been cancelled.
