Khawaja Hassan’s appointment case: LHC summons record from LDA
LAHORE (92 News) – The Lahore High Court has on Friday summoned the record from Lahore Development Authority to submit record regarding Khawaja Ahmad Hassan’s service as Lahore Development Authority’s (LDA) vice-chairman.
Justice Shahid Kareem of LHC was hearing the petition filed by a voter of UC-107, Masood Ahmed.
The petitioner had challenged Hassan’s appointment saying that Hassan served as Lahore Development Authority’s (LDA) vice-chairman so he could not contest the election for two years as he was a government servant.
The court directed the LDA to present the concerned record till October 26 in the court.
