Khurshid Shah moves SHC for bail in assets beyond income case
SUKKUR (92 News) – PPP leader Syed Khurshid Shah has moved the Sindh High Court (SHC) for his bail in the assets beyond income case.
The petition was filed through his lawyers.
The court has referred the application to the SHC Sukkur bench for hearing.
On January 7, Accountability Court Judge Ameer Ali Mehaisar had extended the judicial remand of Khurshid Shah in the assets beyond income case till Jan 17.
Talking to the media outside court on Tuesday, he said that the decision made by the parliament is very important and it yields good results. “The present government should play the role like Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and it is playing the role properly,” he said.
He said that the Pakistani leaders should not only contact the Muslim countries, but also contact the entire world. “Tension between the US and Iran is very dangerous. A joint session should be convened to discuss the matter. The OIC should also play the role,” he said.
