Khyber Pakhtunkhwa beat Sindh by seven runs in Pakistan Cup
FAISALABAD (92 News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa defeated Sindh by seven runs in a match of the Pakistan Cup at Iqbal Stadium on Wednesday.
Batting first after winning the toss, KPK amassed 319 runs for the loss of five wickets in the stipulated 50 overs.
Ahmed Shahzad smashed 143 with the help of 15 4s and two sixes. Fakhar Zaman (68) and Zohaib Khan (27) were the main scorers.
Muhammad Amir, Rumman and Bilal Asif took three wickets each.
In reply, Sindh could score 312 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 50 overs.
Khalid Latif hit 168 runs assisted by 11 fours and nine 6s. Fawad Alam (74) and Sohail Khan (25) were the top scorers.
Ziaul Haq grabbed three wickets, while Sameen Gul got two wickets.
