Kidney selling gang busted in Islamabad, two detained

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Police have detained a gang allegedly involved in selling kidneys in Islamabad’s Lohi Bher area on Wednesday.

As per details, the gang used to entice people from Faisalabad and bring the people to Islamabad by deceiving them and promising them jobs. The group then used to take these people to a private hospital where their kidneys were removed.

Police officials said the suspects were identified as Ijaz and Muhammad Khalid while they were conducting raids for the arrest of Dr Aneeq and Riffat of a private hospital.


Police said that the accused were behind the removal of the kidney of Zeeshan who was paid Rs 10,000. “The group has been selling kidneys for Rs 2-3 million each.”
