KPK CM Mahmood Khan announces grant for 1.9 million families
PESHAWAR (92 News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan announced a grant for 1.9 families across the provinces.
Talking to the media on Friday, he said that the government will give Rs5,000 per month instead of Rs3,000 to each deserving family.
“Under the Ehsas Program, we will distribute Rs11.40 billion among the masses in the province. In total, an amount of Rs32 billion will be spent,” he said.
The chief minister said that an amount of Rs8 billion has been allocated for the health sector.
On the other hand, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to waive off some taxes being levied from the masses.
Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and Adviser to CM on Information Ajmal Wazir ignored the precautionary measures during the press conference as there was only a six-inch distance between them.
Minimum six feet distance is being recommended as precautionary measure.
