KPK govt announces relief aid for quake victims
PESHAWAR (92 News) – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has on Tuesday announced aid of Rs 300,000 to the families of those killed in yesterdays powerful earthquake that left more than 300 dead.
The KPK government has announced that the families of those killed in yesterday’s earthquake will be given aid of Rs 300,000, while aid of Rs 50,000 will be given to the injured.
The provincial government has also announced to give aid of Rs 80,000 for the restoration of houses damaged in the earthquake, while the provincial government has directed the district administrations to make a report of the damage occurred in yesterday’s earthquake and to gather a data of affected families.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif directed the party’s leaders and district administration to inquire about the health of injured people and to make sure the best medical facilities in hospitals.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) set up a helpline 1129 on the directions of CM Punjab to provide assistance to the quake victims.
The CM Punjab further announced aid of Rs 500,000 to the families of those killed in yesterday’s powerful earthquake that left more than 300 dead, while aid of Rs 100,000 for the injured people.
