Lahore Lions thrash Multan Tigers, reach Super8 T20 semis
FAISALABAD (92 News) – Lahore Lions thrashed Multan Tigers by 15 runs to reach the Super8 T20 semi-finals at Iqbal Stadium on Saturday.
Batting first, Lahore Lions scored 180 runs for three wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
Umar Akmal (95 runs not out) and Nasir Jamshed (33 runs) were the top scorers.
Sadeef Mehdi, Zulfiqar Babar and Naveed Yasin got one wicket each.
Multan Tigers could score 165 runs for five wickets.
Naveed Yasin was the top scorer with 68 runs.
Lahore’s Aizaz Cheema got three wickets while Muhammad Hafeez and Mustafa Iqbal took one wicket each.
