Lahore Metro Train Project: Two laborers killed in crane accident
LAHORE (92 News) – Two Metro Orange Train laborers were electrocuted while another received burns when a crane touched a high tension power line in the provincial capital on Sunday.
As the work on Metro Orange Train continues day and night, a crane touched 11000kv high tension power line, resultantly two laborers Shabbir and Anwar were electrocuted while another laborer Sajjad received injuries, who was later shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
After being informed, the police and project authorities reached the spot.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the incident and ordered the authorities to present report of the incident.
He further expressed his heartfelt condolences with the bereaved families.
