Law enforcement agencies played great role despite terror threats: Sindh CM
KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah visited Sukkur and Larkana on Wednesday and to review the security arrangements.
Earlier, he visited the route of main procession in Karachi along with the Rangers DG and expressed satisfaction over security arrangements.
Talking to media at Nishtar Park after visiting the city, the Sindh chief minister said that terror threats were received but the law enforcement agencies and administration played a great role and no untoward incident took place.
He said that if needed, mobile phone service will only be suspended along the routes of the processions.
There are stringent security arrangements and members of cabinet are present in other districts, he said.
“We have asked the Balochistan government to take strict action against terrorists. We also raised the issue of Shafiq Mengal and other people,” he added.
