Law secretary quits as Sindh govt uses delaying tactics in extending Rangers special powers
KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh government is using delaying tactics in extending Rangers’ special powers.
The matter was sent to the Sindh Assembly where it is still pending.
Despite making an announcement, the Sindh government did not present the resolution on Thursday.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah will not attend the assembly on Friday.
Meanwhile, Secretary Law Sindh Mir Muhammad Sheikh has resigned over the issue of special powers to the Rangers.
