Lawyers proved their ‘ignorance’ by attacking PIC: Sheikh Rasheed
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed has said that lawyers had proved their ‘ignorance’ by attacking the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC).
Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that the nation is grieved and ashamed over the yesterday’s incident. “A learned section of the society was involved in sabotage,” he said.
The minister said that the situation will worsen in Pakistan and India if injustice was done with the Muslims. “The citizenship law being passed is anti-Muslims. India is becoming a Hindu state. Muslims are not being accepted the citizens of 10th rank,” he said.
“Asif Zardari was granted bail on Thursday. Bilawal’s politics will end if the plea bargain was not struck,” he said.
He said that the people demanding elections should be ashamed. “
Sheikh Rasheed said that the government will have to take practical steps as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not paying attention to the issue.
Earlier, Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed had said that there was no evil in sending former president Asif Zardari abroad if convicted prime minister Nawaz Sharif as a criminal can go abroad.
He said that the government wanted to take the opposition along with it despite it needs a simple majority for extension in the tenure of Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
About Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the minister said that Fazlur Rehman is talking about the December coming after four years.
He said that he had got transferred the CCPO and the RPO over the murder of four people. “I do not indulge in the cheap politics of the police station. I have never made a phone a call to any police station,” he said.
