LEAs detains Daesh’s Sindh leader Umer Kathior
KARACHI (92 News) – The law-enforcement agencies have on Sunday apprehended the al Qaeda in the Sub-Continent and Daesh’s Sindh leader Umer Kathior.
Sources said that Umer Kathior was the prime suspect in Safoora incident. The accused established a strong network of al Qaeda in the Sub-Continent terrorists in Sindh in 2011 and was involved in several attacks on security forces in Karachi and Hyderabad.
Later, Umer Kathior alias Jalal left al Qaeda and joined Daesh, who used to give orders to sleeper cells of Daesh in Sindh.
The accused has full proficiency in Arabic language, while his wife was nabbed from Karachi.
