Legal battle likely to erupt between factions of MQM-P
KARACHI (92 News) – Following a heated verbal battle between the two factions of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), a legal war is now likely to erupt.
Sources said that former MQM-P convener Dr Farooq Sattar was holding consultations to launch a legal battle against the decisions of the party’s Rabita Committee.
He had already raised questions on the decisions and meetings of the Rabita Committee with his consent.
Sources further confirmed that the Rabita Committee was also ready to defend the legal battle and the services of Barrister Farogh Naseem have already hired.
On the other hand, Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar summoned a meeting of the party’s local bodies representatives today (Tuesday) at KMC Sports Complex.
