Opposition decides to give tough time to government over Panama Leaks
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Opposition leader in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah has on Monday said that the Judicial Commission’s investigation from 1947 is not acceptable as the probe will not complete if it started from 1947.
Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah met PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi and MQM leader Farooq Sattar.
Earlier talking to the media in his chamber, Khurshid Shah said that the investigation of Prime Minister and his family members is the demand of the opposition.
He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is the head of country and he should be held accountable first, adding that the letter written to Supreme Court is not according to opposition’s conditions. “Finance Minister Ishaq had assured us of writing a letter according to the will of opposition,” he said.
The opposition leader said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is morally in a weak position.
The opposition parties will meet over the Panama Leaks issue in Lahore on May 2.
