LHC allows govt to give contact of Orange Line Package II
LAHORE (92 News) – The Lahore High Court allowed the Punjab government to give the contract of Orange Line Package II.
A two-member bench announced judgment on the application of Maqbool Kolson on Thursday.
The petitioner contended that his contract was cancelled for delaying the project due to a change in the design of the project.
He stated that the government withheld their payments as well. He called for giving a new contract.
The government counsel stated that the machinery was seized and the contract was cancelled for breaching the agreement.
The court allowed the government to give the contract of Orange Line Package II. It also ordered the petitioner to resort to civil court.
